On May 29, 2021 - Reggie Married Tyreebee Whaley . Reginald "Reggie" Wyatt (born September 17, 1990) is an American hurdler. He is the current holder of the NFHS (United States High School) record in the 300 meters intermediate hurdles at 35.02, set while winning a preliminary race at the CIF California State Meet on June 5, 2009 at Buchanan High School in Clovis, California. Wyatt won the State Meet the following day, but his time of 36.71 was not destined to be record material after he also won the 400 metres in 46.13 earlier at the same meet. Wyatt ran his senior year for La Sierra High School in Riverside, California. His points from the meet led La Sierra to a four way tie for the State team title. He started his hurdling career running for John W. North High School and made a controversial transfer between the schools for his junior year, which cost him a year of eligibility. USA Track & Field (USATF) is the United States national governing body for the sports of track and field, cross country running, road running and racewalking (known as the sport of athletics outside the US). Adidas Track Classic
The Adidas Track Classic is an American track and field athletics meeting which has taken place annually in Carson, California since 2005. The meeting forms part of the USA Track & Field Visa Championship Series and is also one of the few area meetings where athletes can earn points to qualify for the World Athletics Final. The event has its roots in the Oregon Track Classic, which was sponsored by Adidas until 2005 and was forced to close that year due to lack of funding. Top athletes from the North America, Central America and Caribbean (NACAC) area compete at the event and a number of national and area records have been set at previous editions. 400 Meters Hurdles
The 400 metres hurdles is a track and field hurdling event. The event has been on the Olympic athletics programme since 1900 for men and since 1984 for women. On a standard outdoor track, 400 metres is the length of the inside lane, once around the stadium. Runners stay in their lanes the entire way after starting out of the blocks and must clear ten hurdles that are evenly spaced around the track. The hurdles are positioned and weighted so that they fall forward if bumped into with sufficient force, to prevent injury to the runners. Although there is no longer any penalty for knocking hurdles over, runners prefer to clear them cleanly, as touching them during the race slows runners down. The best male athletes can run the 400 m hurdles in a time of around 46 seconds, while the very best female athletes achieve a time of around 51 seconds. William Wynne (athlete)
William Wynne (born January 30, 1990) is an American hurdler who specializes in the 400 metre hurdles. He currently holds the world youth best in the 400 m hurdles (84 cm) with a time of 49.01 seconds, 0.85 seconds under the previous record set by South Africa's Marnus Kritzinger in 1999. He won two gold medals and a silver medal at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Athletics, which also earned him the 2007 USATF Youth Athlete of the Year award. The 4 × 400 metres relay or long relay is an athletics track event in which teams consist of four runners who each complete 400 metres or one lap. It is traditionally the final event of a track meet. At top class events, the first leg and the first bend of the second leg are run in lanes. Start lines are thus staggered over a greater distance than in an individual 400 metres race; the runners then typically move to the inside of the track. George Porter (born December 19, 1966) is a retired American hurdler. While running for Cabrillo High School in Lompoc, California, he set the NFHS (United States High School) record in the 300 meters intermediate hurdles at 35.32 on May 24, 1985, in the CIF Southern Section Masters Meet (a qualifying meet for the CIF California State Meet). Jeshua Anderson
Jeshua Anderson (born June 22, 1989) is a retired American sprinter, who specializes in the 400 meter hurdles. He is a 3 time NCAA champion in the 400m hurdles and was the second freshman from Washington State University to ever win the NCAA title. In 2008 Anderson was 400 meter hurdles Junior World Champion and holds the second fastest high school time recorded in the 300m hurdles. He was born and raised in Woodland Hills, California and attended Taft High School. After winning the 2011 Outdoor Championships, Anderson had the competed for team USA at the world championships. He also participated in the 2016 Olympic trials in which he finished as a finalist. After college, Anderson pursued a professional career as a sponsored athlete of Nike and sought to qualify for the 2012 Olympic games in London but suffered a torn hamstring that limited his performance.
