Redbergslids IK Fotboll
Redbergslids IK is a now defunct Swedish football club which was located in Gothenburg. They played in the highest Swedish league, Allsvenskan, once in 1930–31, but were relegated. They were also punished for paying their players, which was against the rules at that time, by being demoted to the bottom of the Swedish football league system. Notable players of the club included Gunnar Gren and Sven Rydell. In the top division of Sweden the club attracted an average crowd of 8,898. Gunnar Gren
Johan Gunnar Gren (; 31 October 1920 – 10 November 1991) was a Swedish professional football player and coach. He is best remembered for playing for IFK Göteborg and A.C. Milan. A creative forward, known for his technical skill, vision, tactical intelligence, and passing ability as a playmaker, he was part of the famous "Gre-No-Li" trio of forwards at Milan and the Sweden national team. He was also capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, as an offensive–minded central midfielder, known as the ''mezzala'' role in Italian football jargon, or even as a striker. A full international between 1940 and 1958, he won 57 caps and scored 32 goals for the Sweden national team. Sven Rydell
Sven Åke Albert Rydell (14 January 1905 – 4 April 1975) was a Swedish footballer who played as a forward. He represented Holmens IS, Örgryte IS, and Redbergslids IK during a club career that spanned between 1920 and 1934. A full international between 1923 and 1932, he won 43 caps and scored 49 goals for the Sweden national team. He scored five goals at the 1924 Summer Olympics where Sweden finished third. He was the all-time leading scorer for the Sweden national team for more than 80 years before his record was overtaken by Zlatan Ibrahimović in September 2014.
