Red Hot TV (UK)
Red Hot TV was a series of British television channel that showcased pornographic content on a pay-per-view basis. The channel began broadcasting on Sky in June 2000 as one of a group of channels called Red Hot TV. The channels were owned by Portland TV which also owned the pornographic subscription channel Television X. Portland TV was a division of Northern & Shell until it was sold in April 2016 in a management buy-out. In March 2017, the Red Hot channels were replaced with a new brand known as Xrated. Portland TV
Portland TV was a British adult television company that was owned by Neon X that offered subscription and pay-per-view services to UK audiences on the Sky UK, Virgin TV and Freeview platforms. History The company was established in London Docklands in 1995 as the adult broadcasting division of the British publishing group Northern & Shell. At one point, Portland owned its own broadcasting facilities, but they were transferred to Channel 5, which Northern & Shell also then owned. TVX 40+
TVX 40+ is a British television channel that shows pornographic content on a pay-per-view basis. The channel has been owned by Aylo Global Entertainment (Europe) Limited since 2020 when Aylo (formerly MindGeek) acquired the channel's previous owner, Portland TV. History On 28 February 2017, Portland TV launched three new adult pay-per-view channels on the Sky and Virgin platforms to replace Red Hot, Viewer's Wives and Extreme Filth. The new channels were Xrated 40+, Xrated Couples and Xrated Hook Ups. Television X (TVX) is a series of adult pay-per-view television channels in the United Kingdom owned by MG Global Entertainment (Europe) Limited.
