Rebecca Tunney
Rebecca Tunney (born 26 October 1996) is a retired British artistic gymnast who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Personal information Tunney took ballet from a young age but gave it up at five years old to focus on gymnastics. She moved to the City of Liverpool gymnastics club when she was ten years old to train with coach, Claire Duffy. Duffy said, "She was tiny, quite scruffy and overwhelmed by the environment, but keen and excited to get in there and give it a go. When she first won a medal, you could see how she loved to train to win. She'd had a taste of medals and that was exactly what she wanted to do: she wanted to be a champion." Tunney formerly attended Droylsden Academy Secondary School. London Prepares series is the banner under which the test events for the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games were held. The events which make up the series took place in 2011 and 2012. Gabby Jupp
Gabrielle 'Gabby' Jupp (born 12 June 1997) is a British former artistic gymnast. A successful junior gymnast, she was part of the Great Britain senior team that won silver in the team event at the 2016 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Bern. A series of serious knee injuries curtailed her elite level career, and she announced her retirement in 2019, aged 22. Charlie Fellows (gymnast)
Charlie Fellows (born 1 January 1997) is a British people, British Artistic Gymnastics, artistic gymnast. She was a reserve gymnast for the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Nanning, China, and the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. Since her retirement Charlie moved from her home town and is currently living in Leeds and is now a coach at the Leeds Rebound Gymnastic Club. The 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in Nanning, China at the Guangxi Gymnasium from 3–12 October 2014. The competition was the fourth time a World Artistic Gymnastics Championships has been held in the continent of Asia. Competition schedule All times are CST (UTC+8). Venues Main Arena The main arena where the competition was held was the Guangxi Gymnasium, which opened in 2012. Training Gymnasium The training facility for the competition was held at the Li Ning Sports Park. Tyesha Mattis (born 17 April 1999 in Hackney, London) is a British artistic gymnast currently representing Jamaica in international competition. She trains at Hendon gymnastics club Junior career 2012 Mattis' first big elite meet was at the British Gymnastics Championships at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. She became the Espoir National Champion. She also won the bars final with 12.800. 2013 Mattis competed for Great Britain at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney earlier in January. Team GB is the brand name used since 1999 by the British Olympic Association (BOA) for their British Olympic team.
