Reanne Evans
Reanne Evans (born 25 October 1985) is an English professional snooker player who competes on the World Women's Snooker Tour and the professional World Snooker Tour. She is the number one ranked player on the women's tour, and regularly features as a pundit on televised snooker coverage. Evans competed in her first women's world championship in 2002, aged 16, when she reached the semi-finals. She went on to become the most successful female player in snooker history. She has won a record 12 women's world titles, including ten consecutive victories between 2005 and 2014, surpassing Allison Fisher's previous record of seven women's world titles. She set further records by winning ten UK Women's Snooker Championships, six Eden Masters titles, 58 ranking titles on the women's tour overall, and 90 consecutive victories in women's matches between 2008 and 2011. Dudley
Dudley is a large market town and administrative centre in the county of West Midlands, England, southeast of Wolverhampton and northwest of Birmingham. 2016 World Ladies Snooker Championship
The 2016 World Ladies Snooker Championship was a women's snooker tournament that took place at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds, England, from 2 to 5 April 2016. The event was the 2016 edition of the World Women's Snooker Championship first held in 1976. The event was won by Reanne Evans, who defeated defending champion Ng On-yee 6–4 in the final. The 2016 Dafabet Champion of Champions was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament that took place between 7 and 12 November 2016 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, England. It was the fourth staging of the tournament since it was revived in 2013. In the United Kingdom the tournament was broadcast on ITV4. 2013 Wuxi Classic
The 2013 Sports Lottery Cup Wuxi Classic was a professional ranking snooker tournament held between 17 and 23 June 2013 at the Wuxi City Sports Park Stadium in Wuxi, China. It was the first ranking event of the 2013/2014 season. The tournament was the first to use the new format, similar to the one used in the minor-ranking Players Tour Championship events, where every player, including members of the top 16, started in the first round. 2010–11 Snooker Season
The 2010–11 snooker season was a series of snooker tournaments played between 20 May 2010 and 2 May 2011. The German Masters was the first ranking tournament in Germany since the 1997/1998 season. The Grand Prix was renamed to World Open, and the format of the tournament was change with 32 amateurs joining the Main Tour professionals. The Players Tour Championship minor-ranking series was introduced to the calendar. These events were open to amateurs and professional with a separate Order of Merit. The top 24 in the Order of Merit qualified to the Finals, which was a ranking event. The Premier League was for the first time part of the Main Tour. Allison Fisher
Allison Fisher (born 24 February 1968) is an English professional pool and former professional snooker player. Biography Fisher was born on 24 February 1968 in Cheshunt and grew up in Tonbridge, Kent and lived later in Peacehaven, East Sussex. She started playing snooker when she was 7. She won her first world title at the age of 17. To date, she has won over 80 national titles and 11 world titles in total. Throughout the 1980s, she made various attempts to qualify for the main Men's snooker tour, which contained around 128 players at the time, but these attempts were unsuccessful. However, by 1991, the tour had changed considerably meaning all players had to do to become a 'professional' on the main tour was pay an entry fee.
