The ''Raw Materials Research and Development Council'' (RMRDC) is a federal government of Nigerian agency for research institutions that is responsible for industrial raw materials growth, promotion and utilization supervised by Federal Ministry of Sciences and Technology. It has it head office at Maitama district Garki, Abuja. The current director-general is Ibrahim Hussaini Doko. Abuja
Abuja () is the capital and eighth most populous city of Nigeria. Situated at the centre of the country within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), it is a planned city built mainly in the 1980s based on a master plan by International Planning Associates (IPA), a consortium of three American planning and architecture firms made up of Wallace, Roberts, McHarg & Todd (WRMT – a group of architects) as the lead, Archisystems International (a subsidiary of the Howard Hughes Corporation), and Planning Research Corporation. Ogbonnaya Onu
Ogbonnaya Onu (born 1 December 1951) is a Nigerian politician, author and engineer. He was the first civilian governor of Abia State and was minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Nigeria from November 2015 till his resignation in 2022. He was the longest serving Minister of the ministry. Life and education Ogbonnaya Onu was born on December 1, 1951, to the family of Eze David Aba Onu in Amata, Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of then Eastern region, later Imo State, then Abia State and now Ebonyi State Nigeria. He started his education at Izzi High School in Abakaliki, now the Ebonyi State capital. Here, he obtained grade one with distinction in his West African School Certificate Examination. Ibrahim Hussaini Doko
Ibrahim Hussaini Doko (24 September 1962) is a Nigerian academics, lecturer, administrator, and member of the Governing Board of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Nigeria. He is presently appointed as the director-general and chief executive officer of Raw Materials Research and Development Council, serving two terms from 2014 to 2019 and presently assumed office in April 2019. He replaced Peter Azikiwe Onwualu on his first appointment in 2014. Education He attended Primary School, North Doko from 1968 and graduated from Government Secondary School, Kontagora in 1979 obtaining his West African Examination Certificate with an outstanding performance.
