Raw Air 2019
The Raw Air 2019 is the third edition of Raw Air for men, a ten-day tournament for men in ski jumping and ski flying held across Norway between 8–17 March 2019; and the 2nd edition for women, a six-day tournament in ski jumping held across Norway between 9–14 March 2020. It is part of the 2019/20 World Cup season. Competition format The competition is held on four different hills for men Oslo, Lillehammer, Trondheim and Vikersund; and on three hills without Vikersund for women. It lasts for ten consecutive days with a total of 16 rounds from individual events, team events and qualifications (prologues) for men; and for six consecutive days with total of 9 rounds from individual events and qualifications (prologues) for women. Vikersund
Vikersund is a town of 3,232 (in 2020) inhabitants in the municipality capital of Modum, in the county of Viken, Norway. Overview Vikersund is located 30 kilometers south of Hønefoss and 40 kilometers northwest of Drammen. The village is located at the southwestern arm of Tyrifjorden. Drammenselva enters Tyrifjorden by Vikerfossen. Trunk road Highway 35 passes Vikersund. Vikersund station is a railway station on Randsfjordbanen which was established in 1866, two years before Randsfjordbanen between Drammen and Randsfjord was completed. Dawid Kubacki
Dawid Grzegorz Kubacki ( ; born 12 March 1990) is a Polish ski jumper. He is a member of the national team and competed at the Winter Olympics in 2014, 2018 and 2022, winning two bronze medals. He is the 2019 World Champion on the normal hill and winner of the 2019-20 Four Hills Tournament, as well as the 2017 World Champion and bronze medal winner at the 2013 World Championships in the large hill team competitions. Johann André Forfang
Johann André Forfang (born 4 July 1995) is a Norwegian ski jumper and 2018 team Olympic champion. Career Like his older brother Daniel Forfang he represents the club Tromsø SK. Forfang made his World Cup debut in December 2014. He won team gold medal FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2016 with his teammates in Tauplitz/Bad Mitterndorf. Junshirō Kobayashi
is a Japanese Ski jumping, ski jumper. He is the older brother of Yūka Kobayashi (ski jumper), Yūka Kobayashi, Ryoyu Kobayashi, Ryōyū Kobayashi and Tatsunao Kobayashi who are also ski jumpers. Career He represented Japan at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun, where he finished 13th place on large hill and 25th place on normal hill. Kamil Wiktor Stoch (; born 25 May 1987) is a Polish ski jumper. He is one of the most successful ski jumpers in the history of the sport, having won two World Cup titles, three Four Hills Tournaments (two of them consecutive), three individual gold medals at the Winter Olympics, individual and team gold at the Ski Jumping World Championships, and individual silver at the Ski Flying World Championships. Robert Johansson
Robert Høneren Johansson (born 23 March 1990) is a Norwegian ski jumper. He is a former ski flying world record holder, having landed a jump of in Vikersund on 18 March 2017. Johansson has often been nicknamed the "Wing Commander" for his distinctive handlebar moustache.
