Rasim Ramaldanov
Rasim Ramaldanov (born 24 January 1986) is an Azerbaijani former professional footballer who played as a defender and is now a coach for Gabala Club career Rasim Ramaldanov signed his first professional contract in 2008 at the age of 22 with Simurq PFC. He renewed the contract and became the capitan of this team in 2010. Ramaldanov signed a new two-year contract with Khazar Lankaran in June 2015. In November 2015 Ramaldanov terminated his contract with Khazar Lankaran due to unpaid wages. On 26 January 2016, Ramaldanov signed with Sumgayit. In July 2016 Ramaldanov joined Kolkheti-1913 Poti On 30 January 2017, Ramaldanov signed for Gabala until the end of the 2016–17 season. In July 2021, Ramaldanov was appointed as a coach of Gabala. 2009–10 Azerbaijan Premier League
The 2009–10 Azerbaijan Premier League was the eighteenth season of top-tier football in Azerbaijan. It began on 14 August 2009 and finished in May 2010. FK Baku were the defending champions. The league was competed in two stages. The first stage consisted of a regular home-and-away round-robin schedule for a total of 22 matches per team. The competition then split into two halves. However, each team took over to the respective group only records earned against the remaining 5 teams in their second round group. The teams ranked first through sixth played out the championship and the European spots while the bottom six teams had to avoid one of the two relegation places. Azerbaijan Supercup
The Azerbaijan Supercup ( az, Azərbaycan Milli Futbol Superkuboku) was a football competition, held at the beginning of each domestic season and disputed between the winners of the Azerbaijan Premier League and the winners of the Azerbaijan Cup. It was held in 1993–1995 period as "Sahar" Supercup. From 1996 the competition became inactive. The competition was reestablished in 2013, although it is not held since. History Neftchi Baku holds the record for winning the Supercup the most times, winning it two times since the competition began in 1993. In 1994, Qarabağ were awarded automatically with the Supercup after the team won both the domestic title and the Azerbaijan Cup. The 2019–20 season was Gabala FK's 15th season, and their 14th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. The 2016 Umaglesi Liga was a special transitional season of top-tier football in Georgia. Dinamo Tbilisi were the defending champions.
