Rasheed Yusuff (born 16 October 1994) is a Qatari handball player for Al Sadd and the Qatari national team. He represented Qatar at the 2019 World Men's Handball Championship. Al Sadd SC (handball)
Al Sadd Handball Team ( ar, فريق السد لكرة اليد) is the handball team of Al Sadd SC, based in the capital city of Doha, Qatar. It currently competes in the Qatar Handball League (QHL). The team is one of the most successful in all of Asia, winning the Asian Club League Handball Championship a record 5 times. History Al Sadd Handball Team was formed shortly after the formation of the club in 1969. Since then, they have dominated the handball scene in Qatar, winning a record number of domestic trophies. Their success hasn't been limited to local competitions, however. The team has won a record of 5 Asian Club League Handball Championship titles, meaning they have the most Asian titles to their name. In addition, they won the Handball Club World Cup in 2000. They have also won the IHF Super Globe in 2002 as the host team, as well as finishing runners-up in 2010, again as the host team. The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The Games were regulated by the Asian Games Federation (AGF) from the first Games in New Delhi, India, until the 1978 Games. The 2018 Asian Games ( id, Pesta Olahraga Asia 2018 or ''Asian Games 2018''), officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta-Palembang 2018 or Indonesia 2018, was a Asia, continental multi-sport event that was held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang. Handball at the 2018 Asian Games was held at the POPKI Sports Hall, Jakarta, Indonesia, from 13 August to 31 August 2018. In this tournament, 13 teams participated in the men's competition while 10 teams participated in the women's competition. 2022 Asian Men's Handball Championship
The 2022 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the championship, taking place from 18 to 31 January 2022 in Saudi Arabia under the aegis of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF). It was the second time in history that the championship is organised by the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation (SAHF). It also acted as a qualification tournament for the 2023 World Men's Handball Championship, with the top five teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event jointly hosted by Poland and Sweden. Previously the championship was scheduled to be held in Iran, but on 1 September 2021, the AHF decided to move the event to Saudi Arabia due to the spread of COVID-19 in Iran. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. 2019 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2019 IHF World Men's Handball Championship was the 26th event hosted by the International Handball Federation and held in Denmark and Germany from 10 to 27 January 2019. It was the first IHF World Men's Handball Championship to include more than one host country. It was also the first time a unified Korean team participated. Denmark, in a clean sweep, won their first title by defeating Norway 31–22 in the final. This was Norway's second final in a row and the first final since 1995 between two nations who had not won before. France captured the bronze medal after a 26–25 win over Germany.
