''Random Access Memories (10th Anniversary Edition)'' is the third compilation album by French electronic duo Daft Punk. It is an anniversary reissue of the duo's final studio album ''Random Access Memories'' containing an extra disc with 35 minutes of bonus content, including unreleased demos and outtakes. The reissue was released on 12 May 2023. Promotion and release On 22 February 2021, Daft Punk announced they had split. Exactly two years later, on 22 February 2023, the duo announced a 10th anniversary edition of ''Random Access Memories'' would release, containing a bonus disc of demos and outtakes. 22 February was retroactively titled "Daft Punk Day," in which a new release and/or celebratory event is announced. Daft Punk were a French electronic music duo formed in 1993 in Paris by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. They achieved popularity in the late 1990s as part of the French house movement, combining house music, funk, disco, techno, Rock music, rock and synth-pop. They are regarded as one of the most influential acts in electronic dance music. Daft Punk formed after their previous group, the indie rock band Darlin', disbanded. They were managed from 1996 to 2008 by Pedro Winter, the head of Ed Banger Records. The Centre Pompidou (), more fully the (), also known as the Pompidou Centre in English and colloquially as Beaubourg, is a building complex in Paris, France. It was designed in the style of high-tech architecture by the architectural team of Richard Rogers, Su Rogers and Renzo Piano, along with Gianfranco Franchini. Jason Charles Beck (born 20 March 1972), professionally known as Chilly Gonzales or just Gonzales, is a Canadian musician, songwriter, and producer. "Touch" is a song written and recorded by French electronic music duo Daft Punk and American singer-songwriter Paul Williams. "Touch" serves as the seventh track from the group's fourth studio album, ''Random Access Memories'' (2013). The song was featured in the American thriller TV series, Mr. Robot, and Daft Punk's farewell video, "Epilogue". Composition While working with Chris Caswell, Daft Punk mentioned they had been heavily influenced by the 1974 film '' Phantom of the Paradise'', starring Paul Williams. Caswell offered to arrange a meeting between Williams and the duo, leading to Williams singing on the track and writing lyric treatments for a few tracks on the album. Daft Punk had an initial melody for the song, but, when Caswell arranged a counter-melody for string accompaniment, Daft Punk preferred Caswell's.
