Ramsta, Nærøy
Ramsta or Ramstad (Old Norse: ''Hrafnista'') is a small farming village in Nærøysund municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located about half-way between the villages of Abelvær and Steine on an island near the mouth of the Foldafjord. It was the home of a family from which came several heroes in a group of legendary sagas called the ''Hrafnistumannasögur''. The islands of Nærøy were an old central meeting place, not only for the people of Namdalen, but also for people from neighbouring districts. Saga Locations
is a series of science fantasy role-playing video games by Square Enix. The series originated on the Game Boy in 1989 as the creation of Akitoshi Kawazu at Square. Sölve
Sölve was a sea-king who conquered Sweden by burning the Swedish king Östen to death inside his hall. The ''Heimskringla'' relates that he was the son of Högne of Nærøy, and that he had his home in Jutland (however, according to the older source ''Historia Norwegiae'', he was Geatish). He pillaged in the Baltic Sea and at night they made shore in the hundred of Lofond/Lovund (perhaps Lovön or the Lagunda Hundred) where they surrounded a house and set it on fire killing everybody inside. In the house there was a feast where the Swedish king Östen was invited. Then Sölve and his men arrived in Sigtuna (Old Sigtuna) and declared that the Swedes had to accept him as king. The Swedes refused and fought Sölve for eleven days until they lost. Sölve then ruled Sweden until the Swedes rebelled and killed him. The ''Hrafnistumannasögur'' is a group of legendary sagas surrounding the family of Ketil Trout of Halogaland. (Ketil is sometimes confused with his grandson, Ketil Trout of Namdalen.) Folda, Trøndelag
Folda or Folla is a firth and a fjord in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located within the municipalities of Flatanger, Namsos, and Nærøysund. The large wide firth is about long which then narrows into a fjord which is about long. The narrower fjord part of Folda is often called the ''Foldfjorden'' or ''Innerfolda''. Most of the fjord is very narrow, some places with steep cliffs. It has the largest length to width factor among Norway's fjords. The fjord is crossed by the Norwegian County Road 17 road using the Folda Bridge at the village of Foldereid. Spruce forests cover most areas around the fjord.
