The Taraggi Medal ("Progress Medal"; az, "Tərəqqi" medalı) – is the state award of Azerbaijan Republic. The award was created by Heydar Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on December 6, 1993 by the Decree No. 758.
