Ramesh Talwar
Ramesh Talwar is an Indian film, theatre, television and film director, co-producer and actor. He is the nephew of the film writer, short story writer and playwright Sagar Sarhadi. Talwar began his career as a child artist in ''Love in Simla'' (1960), ''Dhool Ka Phool'' (1959) and '' Phool Aur Kaliyan'' (1960) (produced by V Shantaram; directed by Ram Gabale) which was a National Award winner – Gold medal for best children's film. He was Yash Chopra's assistant director between 1969 and 1979 and directed several films 1977 onwards. He is best known for directing – ''Baseraa'' (1981) which garnered him a Filmfare Best Director Award nomination and Doosra Aadmi. He is also known for directing numerous plays in theatre. Baffa
Baffa ( ur, Pashto :بفه ) is a town, a union council and capital of Tehsil Baffa Pakhal of Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It lies about 15 km north of the district capital, Mansehra. History Baffa may date back to or prior to Sikh rule. It was given the status of a municipality in 1873 during British rule as a principal market town in Northern Hazara and of the neighbouring independent tracts. In 1901, the population was 7,029. A vernacular middle school was maintained by the municipality and the District board. Deven Verma (23 October 1937 – 2 December 2014) was an Indian film and television actor, particularly known for his comic roles, with Bollywood directors like Basu Chatterji, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Gulzar. He also produced and directed films, including '' Besharam''. He won Filmfare Best Comedian Award for ''Chori Mera Kaam'', ''Chor Ke Ghar Chor'' and '' Angoor''. Faiz Ahmad ''Faiz'' (13 February 1911 – 20 November 1984; Urdu, Punjabi: فیض احمد فیض) was a Pakistani poet, and author of Urdu and Punjabi literature. Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) is the oldest association of theatre-artists in India. IPTA was formed in 1943 during the British rule in India, and promoted themes related to the Indian freedom struggle. Its goal was to bring cultural awakening among the people of India. Beginning The Bangalore unit of IPTA was formed in 1941. IPTA was formed on 25 May 1943 at the National conference of theater artists held at the Marwari school, Bombay in response to the need for theater artists to become part of the Indian freedom struggle. Balraj Sahni
Brigadier Balraj (born Balasegaram Kandiah) was a senior commander of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Early life Balraj was the fifth and youngest child of Kandiah and Kannagias. He received his primary education in Kokkuthoduwaai (in Mullaitheevu district) and his secondary education in Pulmoddai (in Trincomalee district). After he passed his O levels, his parents wanted to send him to university; however, due to civil unrest throughout the country they were unable to do so.
