Ramesh Powar
Ramesh Rajaram Powar (born 20 May 1978) is a former Indian cricketer. Powar was selected in 2000 for the first intake of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. and again he was named as India women's cricket team coach in 2021 June. Powar's term will include a tour to Sri Lanka, a bilateral series in the West Indies in October followed by the ICC Women's World T20 in West Indies in November. "The BCCI has appointed Mr. Ramesh Powar as Head Coach of the Indian Women’s Team. Sefton Park Cricket Club in south Liverpool, England was formed as Sefton Cricket Club in 1860. Mithali Dorai Raj (born 3 December 1982) is an Indian cricketer and a former captain of the India women's national cricket team from 2004 to 2022. Kiran Powar (born 6 April 1976), is an Indian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler and is the brother of Ramesh Powar. Playing career Powar led the U-19 team that visited Australia in 1994/95 season. The series was lost 2–0 (Test matches) and 2–1 (Youth ODI). Powar was inconsistent in the series and had one score of fifty in the ODI match leading India to their sole tour victory and a century in the fourth innings of the final test that was lost to Australia. Powar made his debut in Ranji Trophy domestic cricket in the 1996/97 season but with the overcrowded Mumbai batting talent, moved his skills to Goa in 1997/98. 2015–16 Ranji Trophy
The 2015–16 Ranji Trophy was the 82nd season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. It was contested by 27 teams divided into three groups of nine teams each. The top three teams from Groups A and B advanced to the quarterfinals along with the top two teams from Group C. For this season the schedule splits into two stages, the first is a league stage and the second being a knock-out stage. The league stage starts on 1 October 2015 and ends on 4 December 2015 and the knock-out stage starts on 3 February 2016 and ends on 28 February 2016.
