Ramasutra
Ramachandra Borcar is a Montreal-born musician and composer of mixed Indian and Danish background. He is also known under the monikers Ramasutra and DJ Ram. His extensive musical career includes work as a film composer, arranger, orchestrator, performer, studio producer and ethnomusicologist. After studying classical composition, orchestration and electro-acoustic music at McGill University, he went on to create scores for film, television, documentaries, commercials and the theatre. Film composer Borcar has composed for over 100 television episodes, 30+ film, documentary and animated short scores and a AAA video game soundtrack (Far Cry 4). Among the few contemporary polystylistic composers, Borcar's portfolio of work includes an astonishing range of musical styles and expressions. Patrick Demers
Patrick Demers is a film director from Montreal, born in 1969 in Saint-Eustache, Quebec. Biography Following his graduation from film school at the age of 22, Demers traveled around the world alone over six months with a handheld camera for ''La Course destination monde'' ( Radio-Canada Television) and started shooting. After a few years working as a director in the television and advertising industries, his first short fiction film, ''Discharge (Décharge)'', won the award for Best Canadian Short Film at the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2003 he wrote and directed "Dans un spoutnik", an animated music video for Daniel Bélanger which won several awards in the ADISQ Gala and at the MuchMusic Video Awards that year. Michael Dowse
Michael Dowse (born April 19, 1973) is a Canadian director. Life and career Born in London, Ontario, to Irish parents, he was trained as a film editor. His first full-length movie, ''FUBAR'' was shot on a digital camera with a tiny budget, but was selected by the Sundance Film Festival and screened on the prestigious midnight slot, which had launched the revolutionary film ''The Blair Witch Project''. Though it failed to get picked up by any major American theatrical distributors, FUBAR subsequently became a cult hit in Canada. Following the success of ''FUBAR'', Dowse went on to direct the higher-budget British film ''It's All Gone Pete Tong'', the story of a deaf DJ in Ibiza. ''Goon'' is a 2011 Canadian sports comedy film directed by Michael Dowse, written by Jay Baruchel and Evan Goldberg, and starring Seann William Scott, Liev Schreiber, Jay Baruchel, Alison Pill, Marc-André Grondin, Kim Coates and Eugene Levy.
