Raksha (The Jungle Book)
Raksha ( hi, रक्षा / ''Rakšā'' or Mother Wolf as initially named) is a fictional character featured in Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli stories, collected in ''The Jungle Book'' and ''The Second Jungle Book''. History She is a female Indian wolf, member of the Seeonee pack, who while suckling her own cubs decides also to adopt a human "cub" that her mate Father Wolf, Rama has found wandering in the jungle, naming him "Mowgli" (which means "frog" in the Speech of the Jungle) because of his hairlessness. Defying the tiger Shere Khan, who is determined to eat the man-cub, she reveals that her name is Raksha ("protection/nurture") because of her ferocity as a fighter, and she will fight to the death for any of her cubs, natural or adopted. Raksha does not play a large role in the Mowgli stories, but occasionally offers her adopted son moral support. Shere Khan
Shere Khan (Hindi- शेर खान/ English pronunciation) is a fictional Bengal tiger and the main antagonist of Rudyard Kipling's ''The Jungle Book, Jungle Book'' and its adaptations. According to The Kipling Society, the word ''shere'' (or ''shir'') translates as 'tiger', and ''Khan (title), khan'' is a title of distinction, used together "to show that he is the chief among tigers." In "Mowgli's Brothers", Shere Khan's failed attempt to hunt humans causes a human "cub" to stray from its parents. When Shere Khan discovers the infant, it has been adopted by Indian wolf, Indian wolves, Raksha (The Jungle Book), Raksha and Father Wolf, who have named the child Mowgli. Mowgli's Story
The Mowgli's were an American alternative rock band from Calabasas, California. Background and formation Di Panni, Appelbaum, Trent, and Warren were all friends from Calabasas High School. They were joined by Earl, a childhood friend of some of the bandmates. In late 2009, Michael Vincze met Colin Dieden, who had recently moved from Kansas City, at a party. Later, the two wrote one of the group's first songs by combining elements of pieces they were both developing. This would become the track "The Great Divide". It was during an impromptu trip to San Francisco that Vincze and Dieden wrote the track "San Francisco". The initial version was written in one night at a cheap motel room the bandmates were staying in. Over the next couple of months, they recruited additional musicians. Jungle Book Shonen Mowgli
is a Japanese anime adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's original collection of stories, ''The Jungle Book''. It aired in 1989, and consists of a total of 52 episodes. The series, a compromise between the original Mowgli stories and the Walt Disney version, received international acclaim and was aired in different countries around the world. It was especially popular in India, where it was dubbed in Hindi.
