''Rajmohol'' (Bengali: রাজমহল) is a 2005 Indian Bengali-language horror drama film starring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Abhishek Chatterjee, Anu Choudhury, Rachana Banerjee, Biplab Chatterjee, Subhasish Mukherjee, and Bharat Kaul. It is a remake of the 1993 Malayalam film ''Manichitrathazhu''. This movie has got 5 versions (four remakes) in total - Malayalam - Manichitrathazhu (original) and its remakes. Kannada - Apthamitra, Tamil- Chandramukhi, Bengali - Rajmohol and Hindi - Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Plot A married couple from Kolkata, Deboshree (Anu Choudhury) and her husband Sumit ( Abhishek Chatterjee), move to a village. There, they move into a supposedly haunted mansion which belonged to Sumit's ancestors. Deboshree then goes into the restricted room and finds out that there was a dancer named Chandramukhi who had been killed by a ''zamindar'' (a Persian word meaning "landlord"), who lived in that mansion. ''Manichitrathazhu'' () is a 1993 Indian Malayalam-language epic psychological horror film directed by Fazil, written by Madhu Muttam, and produced by Swargachitra Appachan. The film stars Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi and Shobana with Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Vinaya Prasad, K.P.A.C.Lalitha, Sridhar, K.B.Ganesh Kumar, Sudheesh, and Thilakan in supporting roles. Rita Koiral
Rita Koiral (or Rita Kayral; c.1959 – 19 November 2017) was an Indian Bengali actress, especially known for her television and film roles. She appeared in several soap opera roles, often as villains and often opposite Monami Ghosh. Directors she worked with included Prabhat Roy, Agnidev Chatterjee and Aparna Sen. Abhishek Chatterjee
Abhishek Chatterjee (30 April 1964 – 24 March 2022) was an Indian actor who was known for his work in Bengali cinema. He made his big screen debut alongside veterans such as Sandhya Roy, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Tapas Paul, and Utpal Dutt with the Bengali film ''Pathbhola'' (1986) directed by Tarun Majumdar.
