Rajaram (born 1 July 1968) is an Indian politician from Lalganj, Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh. He is a Member of Parliament, representing Uttar Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha (the upper house of India's Parliament) since November 2014. He belongs to the Bahujan Samaj Party. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is a national level political party in India that was formed to represent Bahujans (literally means "community in majority"), referring to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBC), along with religious minorities. Azamgarh district is one of the three districts of Azamgarh division in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Etymology The district is named after its headquarters town, Azamgarh.
