Rajai Muasher
Rajai Muasher ( ar, رجائي المعشر ''ʾRaja'i Al-Mu'asher'') is a Jordanian politician who currently serves as Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister. Muasher previously served as Deputy Prime Minister in 2009 under Samir Rifai's government in 2009. He also served in the Senate until his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister by Omar Razzaz on 16 June 2018. Biography Muasher was born in a Christian family in Amman in 1944. He obtained a Master of Business Administration in 1966, and a PhD in Business Administration in 1971 from the University of Illinois. Muasher served as minister in a number of ministries in the 1970s, and became head to Jordan's Ahli Bank in the 2000s. Omar Razzaz ( ar, عمر الرزاز; born 17 May 1961) was the 42nd Prime Minister of Jordan from June 14, 2018 to October 12, 2020. He was designated to form a new government on 5 June 2018 after his predecessor resigned as a result of widespread protests against IMF-backed austerity measures in the country.
