Kambhampati Hari Babu
Kambhampati Hari Babu is an Indian politician and the current Governor of Mizoram and he is the first being person from divided Andhra Pradesh and first Telugu person serving as Governor of Mizoram in North East India. He was a member of parliament to the 16th Lok Sabha from Visakhapatnam (Lok Sabha constituency), Andhra Pradesh. He won the 2014 Indian general election being a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate. He is former state unit President of Bharatiya Janata Party for Andhra Pradesh. Early life Hari Babu was born in Prakasam district, Thimmasamudram. He moved to Visakhapatnam to pursue his B.Tech. in electronics and communication engineering in Andhra University. He completed his masters as well as Ph D from the same university. The Government of Mizoram also known as the State Government of Mizoram, or locally as State Government, is the supreme governing authority of the Indian state of Mizoram and its 11 districts. It consists of an executive, led by the Governor of Mizoram, a judiciary and a legislative branch. Like other states of India, the head of the state of Mizoram is the Governor, appointed by the President of India on the advice of the Central government. Aizawl
Aizawl (; Mizo: ) is the capital of the state of Mizoram in India. Aizawl was officially established on 25 February 1890. With a population of 293,416, it is the largest city in the state. It is also the centre of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly house and civil secretariat. The population of Aizawl strongly reflects the different communities of the ethnic Mizo people. History In 1871–72, the disorderly conduct of Khalkom, a Mizo chief, compelled the British to establish an outpost that later became the Aizawl village. Mizoram
Mizoram () is a state in Northeast India, with Aizawl as its seat of government and capital city. The name of the state is derived from "Mizo people, Mizo", the endonym, self-described name of the native inhabitants, and "Ram", which in the Mizo language means "land." Thus "Mizo-ram" means "land of the Mizos".
