Raining (Six60 Song)
"Raining", also known by the title "It's Been Raining", is a song by New Zealand band Six60, released as the third single from their third album ''Six60'' in October 2019, on the same day as their song " Please Don't Go". Background and composition Six60 wrote the song in Los Angeles in collaboration with Nico & Vinz, due to their shared love of reggae. The song has a minimal production, incorporating vocal harmonies with a reggae sound and a gospel choir. The band members felt vulnerable releasing the song, as the band had been attempting to distance themselves from reggae and dub-inspired music for their most recent albums. Lyrically, "Raining" expresses the feeling of falling in love. Six60
Six60 are a New Zealand pop rock band formed in Dunedin, Otago in 2008. The band consists of Matiu Walters (lead vocals, guitar), Ji Fraser (lead guitar), Chris Mac (bass guitar), Marlon Gerbes (synthesiser), Hoani Matenga (bass guitar) and Eli Paewai (drums). Their self-titled debut album was released on 10 October 2011 on their own label Massive Entertainment. The album was produced and mixed by Tiki Taane and debuted at number one in the New Zealand charts and was certified gold within its first week of release. Their first two singles " Rise Up 2.0" and " Don't Forget Your Roots" reached number one and number two respectively on the RIANZ singles chart and were both certified double and triple platinum. Coterie is a four-member Australian-New Zealand band. Formed from four brothers who were born in New Zealand and grew up in Perth, Western Australia, the band received recognition for the 2021 single "Cool It Down", which was a hit in New Zealand. Biography The Fisher brothers' parents are musicians from New Zealand. While on tour, they decided to relocate the family from Papakura in Auckland to Perth, Western Australia. The family's roots are in Tauranga and Northland, and are of Te Aupōuri, Ngāpuhi and Ngāi Te Rangi descent. The 2019 Rugby World Cup was the ninth edition of the Rugby World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's rugby union teams. Sevu Reece
Sevuloni Lasei Reece (born 13 February 1997) is a rugby union player who currently plays as a wing for the Crusaders in Super Rugby and in the Bunnings NPC. Born in Fiji, he moved to New Zealand in 2014. He made his debut for the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks, in 2019 and has won 23 caps. Early career Reece was born and raised in Nadi in Fiji, and attended Ratu Navula where he excelled at rugby, and went on to attend Queen Victoria School, a boys' boarding school in Fiji.
