Rah Digga
Rashia Tashan Fisher (born December 18, 1974), known professionally as Rah Digga, is an American rapper and actress. She is best known as a longtime member of the Flipmode Squad, a hip hop group led by Busta Rhymes. Her debut album, ''Dirty Harriet'' (2000), peaked in the top-20 of the ''Billboard'' 200, and she released her second album, ''Classic'', in 2010. She starred in the horror film ''Thirteen Ghosts'' (2001) as Maggie. Early life Rah Digga was born in New Jersey. She studied electrical engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She learned how to rap by studying the raps of KRS-One, Rakim, and Kool G Rap of the Juice Crew. Career Music She worked with hip hop group Twice the Flavor before joining the Outsidaz, leading to a feature on the track "Cowboys" from the Fugees album '' The Score''. ''Classic'' is the second album by American hip hop recording artist Rah Digga. It is her first released since her 2000 debut album ''Dirty Harriet''. A buzz single entitled "Warning Shots" was released for promotion while "This Ain't No Lil' Kid Rap" was released as the sole single. The album was released through Raw Koncept on September 14, 2010. Yasiin Bey (; born Dante Terrell Smith, December 11, 1973), previously and more commonly known by his stage name Mos Def (), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. His hip hop career began in 1994, alongside his siblings in the short-lived rap group Urban Thermo Dynamics (UTD), after which they appeared on albums by Da Bush Babees and De La Soul. Bahamadia released her debut album, '' Kollage'', in 1996, followed by the independently released EP ''BB Queen'' in 2000. She then released a full-length album, ''Good Rap Music'', in 2005. Kamaal Ibn John Fareed (born Jonathan William Davis, April 10, 1970), better known by his stage name Q-Tip, is an American rapper, record producer, singer, and DJ. The Juice Crew was an American hip hop collective made up largely of Queensbridge, New York-based artists in the mid-to-late 1980s. Founded by radio DJ Mr. Magic, and housed by Tyrone Williams' record label Cold Chillin' Records, the Juice Crew helped introduce New School artists MC Shan, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shante, Masta Ace, Tragedy, Craig G and Kool G Rap.
