Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir
Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir (born 29 April 1981) is an Icelandic actress and television presenter who is the assistant director of RÚV, the Icelandic national broadcaster. She is a former Miss Iceland. Life and career Ragnhildur was born Keflavík where she lived most of her youth, excluding four years the family spent in Denmark. Her father is Jón Þór Harðarson, a mechanical engineer. Her mother, Ragnhildur Steinunn Maríusdóttir, died when she was seven years old. In the 1990s Ragnhildur was a gymnast; she won a bronze medal in the national championships in 1998 and was named to the national team. She completed an undergraduate degree in physiotherapy at the University of Iceland. In 2003, she won Miss Iceland. Keflavík (pronounced , meaning ''Driftwood Bay'') is a town in the Reykjanes region in southwest Iceland. It is included in the municipality of Reykjanesbær whose population as of 2016 is 15,129. In 1995, Keflavik merged with nearby Njarðvík and Hafnir to form the municipality of Reykjanesbær. Manuela Ósk Harðardóttir (born 29 August 1983) is an Icelandic beauty queen and a model. She was crowned Miss Reykjavik and Miss Iceland in 2002. She represented her country in Miss Scandinavia and was 1st runner-up. She also went to compete in Miss Universe 2003 in Panama City. She was hospitalized two days before the pageant, due to dehydration, and could not compete. ''DV'' (''Dagblaðið Vísir'') is an online newspaper in Iceland published by Torg ehf. It came into existence as a daily newspaper in 1981 when two formerly independent newspapers, Vísir and Dagblaðið, merged. Early on it was one of the largest newspapers in Iceland and at one point had a 64% readership in Iceland. In the 1990s its readership started to dwindle and in 2003 its publisher was declared bankrupt. It was resurrected a week later by the publisher of Fréttablaðið. Haukur Ingi Guðnason (born 8 September 1978, in Keflavik) is a retired Icelandic footballer who last played for Grindavík. Club career Haukur Ingi began his career with Keflavík Football Club, joining English giants Liverpool in 1997. He spent three years at Anfield without breaking into the first team, and returned to Iceland in 2000. He had a loan spell KR before returning to Keflavik and moving on to Fylkir in 2003.
