Ragna Ingólfsdóttir
Ragna Björg Ingólfsdóttir (born 22 February 1983) is an Icelandic badminton player. She represented Iceland in 2008 Beijing and again at the 2012 London Summer Olympics. She trained at the Tennis og badmintonfélag Reykjavíku, and educated philosophy of psychology at the University of Iceland. In 2011, she commented on skirts boosting popularity in badminton. ''Morgunblaðið'' (, ''The Morning Paper'') is an Icelandic newspaper. ''Morgunblaðið''s website, mbl.is, is the most popular website in Iceland. History ''Morgunblaðið'' was founded by Vilhjálmur Finsen and Ólafur Björnsson, brother of Iceland's first president. The first issue, only eight pages long, was published on 2 November 1913. On 25 February 1964, the paper first printed a caricature by Sigmúnd Jóhannsson which featured the first landings on Surtsey. Susan Hughes (born 1960) is a Canadian author of children's books. She is a freelance editor and writer. She provides manuscript evaluation and coaching services for writers. Early life Susan Hughes went to junior high at Glenview Senior Public School and then high school at Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute. She studied English literature for one year at Queen's University and then completed three more years at the University of Toronto. Hughes got a summer job at a children's publishing company, Crabtree Publishing, where she learned about writing, researching, editing, proof-reading, and working as a team. Hughes worked for a year with Crabtree and then began freelancing as an editor and writer after she graduated, while also working on her own books. Larisa Valeriïvna Griga ( uk, Лариса Валеріївна Грига Larysa Valeriivna Hryha; born 31 May 1984) is a badminton player from Ukraine. She was the gold medalist at the 2003 European Junior Championships in the girls' singles event. She competed at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games. Career She played at the 2005 IBF World Championships in Anaheim and reached the second round (lost to 2nd seed Xie Xingfang of China). As a part of the BC Amersfoort team, Griga reached the final of the European Cup 2007 held in Amersfoort. Jeanine Cicognini (born 14 November 1986) is a Swiss badminton player who now represents Italy. Cicognini won her first Swiss senior title at age 16 and has since won the award seven more times. Biography In 2005, she won the silver medal at the European Junior Badminton Championships in the girls' singles event. Cicognini became a badminton professional as soon as she left school. She soon moved to Denmark, and then moved to the International Badminton Federation's training centre in Saarbrücken, Germany. In 2010, she returned to Switzerland and joined the sport army, where she played for the BC Uzwil. She later moved to Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany and played for the 1.BV Mülheim in the first bundesliga. Anita Raj Kaur d/o Mohinder Singh ( pa, ਅਨੀਤਾ ਰਾਜ ਕੌਰ, Anītā rāja kaura; born 31 July 1986) is a Malaysian badminton player. In 2004, she became the first non-Chinese player to win the National Championships title. In 2009, Kaur won the women's singles title at the Croatian International tournament, and in 2010, she won double title at the Welsh International in the women's singles and doubles events.
