Rafi Reavis
Rafael Reavis (born July 27, 1977) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for the Magnolia Hotshots of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Professional career Reavis first played for the San Juan Knights in the Metropolitan Basketball Association in 2000. After the Metropolitan Basketball Association folded in 2002, Reavis decided to apply for the 2002 PBA draft, where he was picked second overall by the Coca-Cola Tigers. He had a good run during his time with the Tigers before being involved in one of the most controversial trades in PBA history. The trade involved Rudy Hatfield, Billy Mamaril, Aries Dimaunahan, and Ervin Sotto. Rudy Hatfield
Rudolph Conse "Rudy" Hatfield II (born September 13, 1977) is an American-Filipino retired professional basketball player who played for Laguna Lakers in the Metropolitan Basketball Association and for Tanduay Rhum Masters, Pop Cola Panthers, Coca-Cola Tigers and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the Philippine Basketball Association. Pro career After Hatfield's stint with Laguna Lakers in the Metropolitan Basketball Association, he was one of the two former MBA players signed by the Tanduay Rhum Masters beginning the 2000 PBA season. He played secondary role to Eric Menk and Sonny Alvarado. Hatfield was obtained by Pop Cola the following season in a trade with Noli Locsin which involved two other players. The Metropolitan Basketball Association (MBA), or Metroball, was a professional basketball league in the Philippines that ran from March 7, 1998, to July 26, 2002. History The MBA played its first game on March 7, 1998, at the Don Narciso Ramos Sports Complex in Lingayen, Pangasinan. Unlike the Philippine Basketball Association, in which teams represent companies, the MBA teams represented a particular city, province or island in the country.
