Rafael "Rafa" Múñoz Pérez (born 3 March 1988) is an Olympic swimmer from Spain. He competed for the Spanish Olympic team at the 2008 Olympic Games. He was born in Córdoba. On April 5, 2009, at the 2009 Spanish Championships, he swam a 22.43 in the long-course 50 butterfly, going under the existing World Record of 22.96 by South Africa's Roland Schoeman. Andriy Andriyovych Govorov ( uk, Андрій Андрійович Говоров; born 10 April 1992) is a Ukrainian competitive swimmer who holds the world record, European champion ( 2016 London) and bronze medalist in world championship ( 2017 Budapest) in 50 meters butterfly. Roland Mark Schoeman OIS (born 4 July 1980) is a South African American swimmer and was a member of the South African swimming team at the 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games. In May 2022, he officially became United States citizen. Career Born in Pretoria, Schoeman first took an interest in the sport when he was 13, and began to compete three years later. He said he began swimming only to impress a girl he met.
