Rafael Minaskanian
Rafael Minaskanian ( fa, رافائل میناسکانیان, born 19 December 1941) is an Iranian musician and pianist. He is the first artist whose classical piano recital has been broadcast on Iranian Television. Biography Rafael Minaskanian was born in Tehran to Armenian and music-loving families. His mother played the piano and his father the violin, and Rafael began playing music at the age of six. His first piano teacher was Ms. Hagh Nazarian and then he became a student of Emanuel Melik-Aslanian. He took the stage for the first time at the age of ten, and as a teenager performed the first classical piano recital live on the newly launched Iranian National Television. He completed his primary education in a French private school and his secondary education in Firooz Bahram High School. Tehran (; fa, تهران ) is the largest city in Tehran Province and the capital of Iran. Arno Babajanian
Arno Harutyunovich Babajanian ( hy, Առնո Բաբաջանյան; russian: Арно Арутюнович Бабаджанян; January 22, 1921 – November 11, 1983) was a Soviet and Armenian composer and pianist. He was made a People's Artist of the USSR in 1971. Biography Babajanian was born in Yerevan on January 22, 1921. By the age 5, his musical talent was apparent, and the composer Aram Khachaturian suggested that the boy be given proper music training. Two years later, in 1928, Babajanian entered the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. In 1938, he continued his studies in Moscow with Vissarion Shebalin. He later returned to Yerevan, where from 1950 to 1956 he taught at the conservatory. In 1952, he wrote the Piano Trio in F-sharp minor. It received immediate acclaim and was regarded as a masterpiece from the time of its premiere. Subsequently, he undertook concert tours throughout the Soviet Union and Europe. Fajr International Music Festival
Fajr International Music Festival ( fa, جشنوارهٔ موسیقی فجر) is Iran's most prestigious Music Festival founded in 1986. The festival is affiliated with UNESCO and includes national and international competition sections. Since its establishment, many musicians from several countries like Austria, Germany, France participated in the event. The festival have enjoyed a strong presence of Asian countries as well. String Orchestra
A string orchestra is an orchestra consisting solely of a string section made up of the bowed strings used in Western Classical music.
