Raef (singer)
Raef Haggag ( ar, رائف حجاج; born August 8, 1982) is an Egyptian-American singer. Beginnings Raef picked up playing guitar during his time at the University of Maryland, College Park where he studied computer science. After graduation, Raef worked briefly as a software engineer before leaving to teach high school for eight years. As he says: "I decided to switch careers from a software eng. to a high school teacher because I wanted to help others in a more direct way (and because it was pretty boring sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a day)". Raef taught computer programming in Montgomery County Public Schools. Music career Teaching gave Raef more time to focus on songwriting, often performing at local coffee shops and busking at metro stations. Ridwan Kamil
Mochamad Ridwan Kamil (born 4 October 1971) is an Indonesian architect and politician who is the 15th Governor of West Java, the most populous province of Indonesia. He was also the mayor of Bandung from 2013 to 2018. As an architect, he designed iconic structures in Indonesia and other countries in Asia with his Urbane architectural firm and lectured at the Department of Architecture, Bandung Institute of Technology. Education Kamil spent almost his entire life in Bandung where he went to public schools and studied architecture at Indonesia's leading state engineering school, the Bandung Institute of Technology. Hamza Namira ( ar, حمزة نمرة) is an Egyptian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has released three albums from the production of Awakening Records: ''Dream With Me'', ''Insan'', ''Esmaani;'' and a couple of albums from Namira production, his own foundation: ''Hateer Min Tany'' and ''Mawlood Sanat 80''. Besides singing, for which he is mostly known, he has also worked in musical composition and arrangement. The Hammersmith Apollo, currently called the Eventim Apollo for sponsorship reasons, and formerly known as the Hammersmith Odeon, is a live entertainment performance venue, originally built as a cinema called the Gaumont Palace. Located in Hammersmith, London, it is an art deco Grade II* listed building. LaunchGood is a crowdfunding platform focused on the Muslim community worldwide. LaunchGood went live in October 2013 and it raised more than $510.1 million from 1.6 million donors across 153 countries. LaunchGood is one of a number of crowdfunding platforms for gathering money from the public, which circumvents traditional avenues of investment.
