Radu Petrescu
Radu Marian Petrescu (born 12 November 1982) is a Romanian football referee who officiates in the Liga I. He has been a FIFA referee since 2012, and is ranked as a UEFA first category referee. Refereeing career In 2007, Petrescu began officiating in the Liga I. His first match as referee was on 10 August 2007 between Mioveni and Vaslui. He served as the referee for the 2015 Supercupa României, 2018 Supercupa României, 2017 Cupa Ligii Final, 2019 Cupa României Final and 2020 Supercupa Romaniei. In 2012, he was put on the FIFA referees list. He officiated his first senior international match on 4 June 2016 between Slovakia and Northern Ireland. The Qatar Stars League ( ar, دوري نجوم قطر), or the QSL, also called QNB Stars League for sponsorship reasons, is the top level football league in Qatar football league system. Contested by 12 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Qatari Second Division (QSD). Seasons of the QSL usually run from September to April. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table.
