Radim Špaček
Radim Špaček (born 13 October 1973, in Ostrava) is a Czech director, producent and actor best known for film Walking Too Fast. He is the only director who has received both Czech Lion and Fluffy Lion. His father Ladislav Špaček is an Etiquette expert, journalist and former Spokesperson of Václav Havel. Biography Hegraduated at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. His debut was 1998 film Rychlé pohyby očí, Rapid Eye Movement which received Fluffy Lion an atiaward for the worst Czech film of the year. After this film he directed multiple documentary programmes. He also worked with his father on a television programme Etiquette. He made his next film Walking Too Fast in 2013. The film has received multiple Czech Lion Awards including the one for the best Czech film of the year. Walking Too Fast
''Walking Too Fast'' (, literally ''handcuffs'' or ''bonds'') is a Czech thriller and drama film directed by Radim Špaček. It was released in 2010. It is a psychological story about relations between the secret police (StB) and the dissident movement, set in communist Czechoslovakia in the 1980s. The film was likened to the German film ''The Lives of Others''. ''Walking Too Fast'' is described as a dark thriller with an unpredictable protagonist who becomes dangerous to all people around including himself. His way to reach the goal is self-destructive. Václav Havel (; 5 October 193618 December 2011) was a Czech statesman, author, poet, playwright, and dissident. The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague () or FAMU is a film school in Prague, Czech Republic, founded in 1946 as one of three branches of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
