Racha (film)
''Racha'' (), also spelt ''Rachcha'', is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language masala film directed by Sampath Nandi and co-written by the Paruchuri Brothers. Produced by R. B. Choudary in association with N. V. Prasad and Paras Jain under their banner Megaa Super Good Films, it stars Ram Charan and Tamannaah, with Mukesh Rishi, Dev Gill and Kota Srinivasa Rao. The film marks the Telugu debut of Ajmal Ameer and R. Parthiepan who makes a cameo appearance. The film was edited by Gautham Raju; Sameer Reddy provided the cinematography; Mani Sharma composed the film's score and soundtrack. Principal photography commenced in June 2011 and was shot in various locations throughout Asia, mainly in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu of India apart from Sri Lanka and Bangkok. Sampath Nandi
Sampath Nandi (born 20 June 1980) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works primarily in Telugu cinema. Career After completing his bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the V.L. College of Pharmacy, Nandi assisted Posani Krishna Murali for about three years. In the meantime he used to make ad-films in Mumbai and Bengaluru. In 2010, Nandi made his directorial debut with ''Yemaindi Ee Vela'', starring Varun Sandesh and Nisha Aggarwal. It was a remarkable debut with a run of 50days in 32 centers. His second film was 2012's ''Racha'', starring Ram Charan and Tamannaah Bhatia which turned to be a blockbuster.
