Raaghav
Venkataraghavan Ranganathan, better known as Raaghav on screen, is an Indian actor and television personality in Tamil Nadu. Before his break into films, he appeared in season 1 of ''Jodi Number One''. Career He first appeared in supporting roles in several films, he made his debut as the lead hero with, '' Nanjupuram''. He is a gold medalist from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai and passed out in 1994. He then went on to further his studies in the University of Illinois and later came back to Chennai, where he worked as a software engineer. But due to his passion for media, he shifted to a career of acting. He married his TV co-star Preetha. He and his wife appeared together in Jodi Number 1 in STAR Vijay and Maanada Mayilada in Kalaignar TV Kalaignar is an Indian general entertainment satellite television channel based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. ''Ticket'' is a Indian comedy drama film written and directed by Raaghav Ranganathan, and produced by Preetha Raaghav. Shot in Tamil and English, the film features Raaghav in the lead role, alongside Karthik Kumar, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli and Sanam Shetty. The film was premiered at the London Indian Film Festival in 2017, with screenings held in London, Wembley and Birmingham. Nanjupuram
''Nanjupuram'' is a 2011 Tamil horror film directed by Charles, starring Raaghav and Monica in the lead roles, while Thambi Ramaiah and Aadukalam Naren play supporting roles. The film, which features music scored by Raaghav himself, was produced by his wife Preetha. The film was in production for over three years and was finally released on 1 April 2011 and got positive Word of mouth from B&C centers and became a Sleeper hit. Plot Nanjupuram is a small village surrounded by hills full of poisonous snakes. The village has two big shots. Preetha
Preetha is a television personality and film producer. She also hosted Cinema Karam Coffee on STAR Vijay and the popular cookery show Sunday Samayal on Sun TV. While still in college she received an offer for acting in an advertisement. After a one-year career in advertisements Preetha began her television career with the serial Aalayam which aired on Sun TV in 1999. She has acted in several Tamil language serials that were screened on Sun TV. She also has participated in the first series of the dance reality show Jodi Number One along with her husband Raaghav in STAR Vijay. The couple was one of the three finalists. Preetha produced the fantasy thriller film ''Nanjupuram'' which featured her husband Raaghav in the lead role. It was Raaghav's debut film.
