R. Rajamahendran
Rajendran Rajamahendran (19 May 1943 – 25 July 2021) was a Sri Lankan businessman, media personality, philanthropist and social activist. He was nicknamed as "Kili Maharaja" aka "Kili Rajamahendran". Life He served as the owner of Sirasa Shakthi MTV Media Network and chairman of Capital Maharaja organisation. He also served as the Vice President of Sri Lanka Cricket in early 1980s. He was regarded as a media giant in Sri Lanka and was also known for his financial assistance to Sri Lanka Cricket during the pre-test era. Duleep Mendis
Deshamanya Louis Rohan Duleep Mendis (born 25 August 1952), known as Duleep Mendis, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and former captain of the team, who captained Sri Lanka to their first Test series victory in 1985. He was primarily a specialist batsman, whose best period as a player came from 1982 to 1985. He is currently the coach of the Oman national cricket team. Indian Cricket Team In Sri Lanka In 2021
The India cricket team toured Sri Lanka in July 2021 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. All the matches took place at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Originally, the tour was scheduled to take place in June 2020, but was moved back to August 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before being postponed. On 9 July 2021, following an outbreak of COVID-19 cases in the Sri Lankan camp, the series was postponed from 13 to 18 July. The tour overlapped with India's participation in the 2021 ICC World Test Championship Final and a Test series against England.
