Qayaas ( ) was a progressive rock band from Islamabad, Pakistan, founded in 2008 by lead guitarist and songwriter, Khurram Waqar, who was soon joined by vocalists Umair Jaswal and Mohammad Hashir Ibrahim, guitarist Sarmad Abdul Ghafoor, bassist Shaheryar Ghayas and drummer Salman Rafique, completing the band's lineup.Qayaas band interview BBC Urdu (in urdu)

Bilal Lashari
Bilal Lashari is a Pakistani filmmaker, cinematographer, screenwriter and occasional actor. He made his directorial debut with ''Waar'' (2013), which at the time of release became Pakistan's List of highest-grossing Pakistani films, highest-grossing film (currently 11th highest). His next project titled ''The Legend of Maula Jatt'' (2022) was a remake of the 1979 film Maula Jatt. The film broke box office records and became List of highest-grossing Pakistani films, Pakistan's highest grossing film. ''Waar'' (Urdu: ; , ) is a 2013 Pakistani action-thriller film directed by Bilal Lashari (in his feature directorial debut), written by Hassan Rana, and produced by Syed Mujtaba Tirmizi, it stars Shaan Shahid as Major Mujtaba Rizvi, a retired Pakistan Army Officer, Meesha Shafi, Ali Azmat, Shamoon Abbasi, Ayesha Khan, and Kamran Lashari. The film follows Major Mujtaba Rizvi (Shahid), an officer, who returns from his retirement to save Pakistan from a major terrorist attack.
