Qutub-E-Kripa
Qutub-E-Kripa is a national award-winning ensemble of young musicians of A. R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory. According to AR Rahman's official website, the K M College of Music & Technology produces outstandingly talented students every year. In order to provide direction and a means to showcase their talent, Qutub E Kripa was formed by AR Rahman. They have been co-credited alongside A. R. Rahman for the background scores of films such as '' 24'', ''O Kadhal Kanmani'', ''Tamasha'', ''OK Jaanu'', ''Kaatru Veliyidai'', ''Mom'', ''Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'', '' Sarkar'' and '' 2.0''. ''Shikara'' is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film produced and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film is based on the Kashmiri pandit exodus of 1990. The story revolved around the love story of Shanti and Shiv Dhar, who are Kashmiri Pandits in the backdrop of the Exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir. The book '' Our Moon Has Blood Clots'' by Rahul Pandita has inspired many parts of the movie. While it received mixed reviews from critics, the audience was critical of the film for failing to tell the untold story of Kashmiri Pandits, as claimed. ''College Kumar'' is a 2020 Indian comedy film written and directed by Hari Santhosh. A remake of director's own 2017 Kannada film of the same name, it was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu languages, with Prabhu starring in Tamil and Rajendra Prasad replacing him in Telugu. KM Music Conservatory
KM Music Conservatory (KMMC) is a higher education institution founded in 2008 by the A. R. Rahman foundation. Located in Arumbakkam, Chennai, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, the conservatory offers a range of part-time and full-time courses in Hindustani and Western classical music and music technology. Composer A. R. Rahman is the founder and principal, Fathima Rafiq the executive director. Faculty Courses at KMMC are taught by an international group of full-time and part-time faculty from India, Europe and the US, specialising in musical performance, music theory and analysis, music history, musicology and music technology.
