''Cinema Veeran'' () is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language documentary film written and directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth on her documentary film debut. Production The plot of the film was inspired and based on the lives of untold stories of stunt choreographers of Tamil cinema. The film also features a voice-over provided by Rajinikanth and it is produced by Dhanush under the production banner Wunderbar Films. The principal photography began in late December 2015 and the first look poster was unveiled in February 2016. Aishwarya Rajinikanth (born 1 January 1982) is an Indian film director and playback singer who works in Tamil cinema. She is the elder daughter of actor Rajinikanth and wife of actor Dhanush. She made her feature film directorial debut with ''3 (2012 Indian film), 3'' (2012) starring Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in the lead. Livingston Antony Ruben is an Indian film editor, who works in Tamil and Telugu films. Career After graduating with a degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College Chennai. Ruben approached director Gautham Vasudev Menon to become an assistant, who redirected him towards noted film editor, Anthony, to join as assistant editor.
