"Quietly" is the third and final single from the Guano Apes third album, ''Walking on a Thin Line''. Like the previous single, ''Pretty in Scarlet'', it charted at No. 51 in Germany. The single contains two previously unreleased songs, "Cream Over Moon" and "Allies", as well as previously unreleased live versions of "You Can't Stop Me "You Can't Stop Me" is the first single from the Guano Apes' third album, ''Walking on a Thin Line''. Guano Apes
Guano Apes are a German rock band formed in 1994 in Göttingen. The band consists of Sandra Nasić (vocals), Henning Rümenapp (guitars, backing vocals), Stefan Ude (bass, backing vocals), and Dennis Poschwatta (drums, backing vocals). AllMusic calls the quartet alt-rock and their sound a fusion of metal, pop, and rap. They have released five studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums, and five video albums. History Formation and ''Proud Like a God'' (1994–1999) Guano Apes were formed in 1994 in Göttingen, Germany, by guitarist Henning Rümenapp, bassist Stefan Ude, and drummer Dennis Poschwatta. ''Walking on a Thin Line'' is the third studio album by Guano Apes. It was released on 3 February 2003 by BMG. Title of the album comes from a line in the song "Kiss the Dawn". The album reached #1 on the German album charts and was certified gold for shipping 100,000 copies. Lead single " You Can't Stop Me" peaked at #10 in Germany. "Break the Line" is a 2004 song by the Guano Apes from their greatest hits album '' Planet of the Apes'', released on October 24, 2004. You Can't Stop Me
"You Can't Stop Me" is the first single from the Guano Apes' third album, ''Walking on a Thin Line''. It was released as a single on 13 January 2003, at which point the album it would appear on was still untitled. It reached No. 10 in Germany, also charting in four other European countries, and performing well in Portugal. It was their first single released in the United Kingdom. The song would later also appear on the 2004 greatest hits album, ''Planet of the Apes''. This song sounds like the Erasure's song Blue Savannah. Reception ''Rock Hard'' magazine gave favourable reviews, calling it a great rock song that should dominate the rock scene. Sandra Nasić (born 25 May 1976) is a German singer best known as the vocalist of the rock band Guano Apes. Career Nasić was born in Göttingen, West Germany, where she grew up with her Croatian mother and sister. After she received her high school diploma, Nasić considered studying design, but decided to pursue a music career with the rock band Guano Apes, which she joined in 1994. The band's career took off in 1996 after they won the "Local Heroes" competition held by VIVA, beating out over 1,000 competitors with their song " Open Your Eyes". The band's debut album, ''Proud Like a God'', peaked at No. 4 in Germany in 1997. Their next two albums, ''Don't Give Me Names'' (2000) and ''Walking on a Thin Line'' (2003) both reached No. 1.
