Quentin Mosimann
Quentin Gérard John Mosimann (; born 14 February 1988 in Geneva) is a Swiss DJ and record producer. He has been ranked in the top 100 of the best disc jockeys for four consecutive years by ', ranking 93rd in 2015. Quentin Mosimann took up his DJ career in the south of France, in Saint-Tropez when he was only 14. At age of 20, he won the French TV reality show Star Academy, and gained success with 2 albums in Universal Music ('Duel' & 'Exhibition') and a tour featuring a show at the famous Olympia of Paris. That was a stairway to his current international career of "DJ Singer". The Olympia (; commonly known as L'Olympia or in the English-speaking world as Olympia Hall) is a concert venue in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, 9th arrondissement of Paris, France, located at 28 Boulevard des Capucines, equally distancing La Madeleine, Paris, Madeleine church and Palais Garnier, Opéra Garnier, north of Place Vendôme, Vendôme square. Bob Sinclar
Christophe Le Friant (; born 10 May 1969), better known by his stage name Bob Sinclar (), is a French record producer, DJ and remixer. He is the owner of the record label Yellow Productions. Musical career A native of Paris, Le Friant began DJing in the 1980s under the name Chris the French Kiss. During this time he was more influenced by hip hop and jazz music and created music projects such as The Mighty Bop and Reminiscence Quartet, the latter with an ensemble of musicians and where Le Friant used the alias Desmond K. In 1998 Le Friant adopted name of Bob Sinclar after the titular character from the 1973 film ''Le Magnifique''. He became known for popularising the "French touch" of house music with heavy use of sampled and filtered disco strings. He describes his musical style as inspired by "peace, love, and house music". ''The Voice Belgique'' is a francophone Belgian reality television singing competition. The TV show is part of the international "Voice" franchise that started in the Netherlands as ''The Voice of Holland''. It kicked off on December 20, 2011, one month after its Flemish Belgian counterpart, ''The Voice van Vlaanderen'' went on air. It is currently airing on La Une from RTBF network. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Guesch Patti (born 16 March 1946), born Patricia Porrasse, is a French singer. Biography Early life Patti was born in Paris, France. She chose her artist name, ''Guesch'', from the nickname she had as a child. ''Patti'' is a nickname for Patricia. Guesch Patti first started her career at dancing at age nine when she performed in a ballet at the Opéra National de Paris, working with Roland Petit, then at contemporary dance with Carolyn Carlson and Pina Bausch, and finally at variety dance on television. Léopold Nord & Vous, then Les Chéris, is a Belgian band founded in 1983. In France, it can be considered as a one-hit wonder for its single "C'est l'amour", but both band and members had a long and successful musical career in Belgium. Biography The band was composed of three brothers : Alec (born on January 26, 1958), Benoît (February 9, 1964) and Hubert Mansion (October 7, 1960). In France, this trio remains famous for its 1987 hit song "C'est l'amour", its debut single, which was number 2 on the SNEP singles chart and certified Gold disc. "C'est l'amour" is a popular song recorded by Belgian band Léopold Nord & Vous. It was trio's debut single, released in September 1987, from the album of the same name, and perhaps remains to date its most known song, due to the huge success it met in France and the number of cover versions and remixes that it was the subject throughout the years. It can be deemed as band's signature song. Background and release In 1987, Alec Mension, a Belgian artist who had already released several singles in his country, recorded in Tony Visconti studio, in London, a song he wrote in English-language, entitled "Don't walk away". However, no recording company agreed to sign a contract with him, because nobody thought that the song had potential. Mension decided to re-record the song adding French voices to the English mix.
