Quark (song)
"Quark" (meaning "rubbish", literally curd) is a punk song by Die Ärzte. It's the fourteenth track and the fourth single from their 1993 album '' Die Bestie in Menschengestalt''. It's about a man, who can't handle the chattering of his consort. The single version criticises the gibberish of politicians. The single version is also on "Das Beste von kurz nach früher bis jetze". The video In the video the single version of the song is sung. The video features the band in a bar with hillbillies and women with deep cleavage. The supposed members of the band are also dressed like hillbillies and they're eating curd while watching politicians, who are in fact the real band members, talking on TV. Also people in the bar are playing with food and throwing it at the TV-set. Die Ärzte (; ) is a German rock band from Berlin. The band has released 14 studio albums. The group consists of guitarist Farin Urlaub, drummer Bela B and bass player Rodrigo González. All three write and perform their songs. History Early years Die Ärzte were formed in West Berlin in 1982 by Jan Vetter (alias Farin Urlaub, a pun on the expression "Fahr' in Urlaub", meaning "Go on vacation"), Dirk Felsenheimer (alias Bela B, referring to Dracula actor Bela Lugosi) and bassist Hans Runge, alias . Bela and Farin had previously played together in the punk band Soilent Grün, established in 1979 and named after the film ''Soylent Green''. is the third album by German rock band . The song Geschwisterliebe", and with it the whole album, was put on the German List of Media Harmful to Young People on 27 January 1987. In late 2020, a Reissue of the Album was released, which replaced "Geschwisterliebe" with the song "Frühjahrsputz", which uses the same instrumental but with different lyrics. This was the first album recorded since Sahnie left the band. The bass guitar was played by their producer, Manne Praeker. ''MTV's Most Wanted'' is a television series on MTV Europe which was broadcast from 1992 to 1995, based in London, England. It was presented by Ray Cokes.
