Quantez Robertson
Quantez Robertson (born 16 December 1984) is a retired American basketball shooting guard. Robertson spent his entire professional career with German Bundesliga side Fraport Skyliners. He played college basketball for the Auburn Tigers from 2005 to 2009. College career Robertson was named Outstanding Defensive Player of the Auburn Tigers three times. He is also the all-time leader in steals with 210 for the Tigers. In his junior year, he started all games for Auburn and averaged 7.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. Professional career In 2009, Robertson signed a contract with the German BBL team Fraport Skyliners. In 2010, he reached the BBL Finals and the Cup Final with Skyliners; both were lost. The 2015–16 season was a successful one for Robertson and the Skyliners. The team won the FIBA Europe Cup Final against Pallacanestro Varese and Robertson was named Final Four MVP. In basketball, a steal occurs when a defensive player legally causes a turnover by their positive, aggressive action(s). This can be done by deflecting and controlling, or by catching the opponent's pass or dribble of an offensive player. The defender must not touch the offensive player's hands or otherwise a foul is called. Steals are credited to the defensive player who first causes the turnover, even if they do not end up with possession of the live ball. To earn a steal, the defensive player must be the initiator of the action causing the turnover, not just the benefactor. Overseas Elite was an American basketball team that participated in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), an annual winner-take-all single-elimination tournament. The Basketball Tournament
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is an open-application, single-elimination tournament played each summer in the United States. The 2022 edition features 64 teams with a $1 million winner-take-all prize, broadcast by ESPN. TBT was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Mugar. Format Teams in TBT are arranged by the general manager, sometimes based on which college basketball program the players competed for. The tournament has had as many as 97 teams, in 2015, and as few as 24 teams, in 2020. Since 2016, the tournament has most often used a 64-team field. In 2019, the 64 teams were divided into eight regions, with each regional winner advancing to the championship venue. Basketball Bundesliga-Pokal, commonly known as the BBL-Pokal, is the annual national basketball cup competition in Germany. Since 2009, the title has been awarded to the winner of a tournament competition between top clubs of each Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) season.
