Quadrio (Prague)
Quadrio is a multifunctional complex in the centre of Prague, Czech Republic, at metro station Národní třída. It serves mainly as shopping centre and it is also containing offices and residential building. It is also connected with Shopping house Máj, which was built in 1975. Construction of Quadrio complex took place between 2012 and 2014. The building has three underground and eight above-ground floors. Investor of the project was European real estate investor CPI Property Group. It was designer by Czech architectonic atelier Jakub Cigler Architects. The kinetic sculpture '' Head of Franz Kafka'' by David Černý David Černý (born 15 December 1967) is a Czech sculptor. His works can be mainly seen in many locations in Prague. Jacob is a common male given name and a less well-known surname. Prague 1
Prague 1, formally the Prague 1 Municipal District (), is a second-tier municipality in Prague. It is co-extensive with the national administrative district (''správní obvod'') of the same name. Prague 1 includes most of the medieval heart of the city. All of Staré Město (the Old Town) and Josefov (the Jewish Quarter) are in the district, as are most of Malá Strana (the Little Quarter), Hradčany and Nové Město (the New Town). Národní třída ("Avenue of the Nation", ) is a Prague Metro station on Line B. The station has two exits, one to Spálená street where it connects to the tram network A tram (called a streetcar or trolley in North America) is a rail vehicle that travels on tramway tracks on public urban streets; some include segments on segregated right-of-way. Národní (Prague)
Národní, formerly Národní třída, is one of the important avenues in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. It is placed on the boundary of New Town and Old Town, in the southwest direction from the centre of the city. This avenue connects Legion Bridge bridge with Jungmannovo náměstí. In medieval times, there were fortification walls. David Černý
David Černý (born 15 December 1967) is a Czech sculptor. His works can be mainly seen in many locations in Prague. Early life Černý was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia. From 1988 to 1994 he studied at the Kurt Gebauer Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and in 1995 and 1996 he participated in the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program, New York, US.
