Qingtongxia Joint Tactic Training Base
The Qingtongxia Joint Tactic Training Base is a training base located in Qingtongxia, Ningxia, China and is under the jurisdiction of the Western Theater Command Ground Force. History Qingtongxia Joint Tactic Training Base was established at the end of the 20th century under the jurisdiction of former Jinan Military Region. In December 2015, the China-Pakistan "Friendship-2015" joint anti-terrorism training with 100 soldiers from both sides kicked off in the base. Qingtongxia
Qingtongxia (, Xiao'erjing: ٿٍْ‌طْوثِيَا شِ) is a city in north-central Ningxia, China. Administratively, Qingtongxia is a county-level city within the prefecture-level city of Wuzhong. It is located on the left (northwestern) bank of the Yellow River, opposite and a bit upstream of Wuzhong main urban area, and borders Inner Mongolia to the west. Qingtongxia had 264,717 residents in 2010. Many residents of Qingtongxia are Hui Muslim. Ningxia
Ningxia (,; , ; alternately romanized as Ninghsia), officially the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (NHAR), is an autonomous region in the northwest of the People's Republic of China. Jinan Military Region
The Jinan Military Region was a PLA Military Region located in the east of the People's Republic of China, covering the Shandong and Henan Provinces, which also formed military districts. It appears that Yang Dezhi was one of the first commander of the Jinan MR, from 1958. It was considered a strategic reserve. It includes some of the area previously within the Wuhan Military Region, disbanded in 1985–88. The 5th Air Corps was established in Weifeng, Shandong Province, in 1952, possibly from the disbanding 11th Corps, but was moved to Hangzhou in the Nanjing Military Region by 1954. Western Theater Command
The Western Theater Command ()is one of the five theater commands of the People's Liberation Army, founded on 1 February 2016. Its jurisdiction includes Sichuan, Tibet, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Chongqing. Guizhou is also sometimes listed as part of the command.
