Qazi Onik
Qazi Onik (born 18 March 1999) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. A left-arm medium-fast bowler, he made his Twenty20 debut for Rajshahi Kings on 29 November 2017 in the 2017–18 Bangladesh Premier League. In December 2017, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He was the leading wicket-taker for Bangladesh in the tournament, with 10 wickets. In February 2018, took his first five-wicket haul in List A cricket, bowling for Mohammedan Sporting Club against Legends of Rupganj in the 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. He finished the 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League as the leading wicket-taker for Mohammedan Sporting Club, with 28 dismissals in 11 matches. 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League
The 2018–19 BPL season, also known as BPL 6 or UCB BPL 2019 Powered by TVS (for sponsorship reasons), was the sixth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket franchise league in Bangladesh. The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), featuring seven teams from seven cities. Teams are restricted to having four overseas players per side, instead of five in the previous edition of the tournament. Rangpur Riders were the defending champions. Originally, the season was scheduled to start on 1 October 2018 and end on 16 November 2018. 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League Players' Draft
The 2019-20 Bangladesh Premier League players draft took place in 17 November 2017. During the player's direct signing period, a ''Conflict of Interests'' aroused between BCB and all other franchise. Subsequently, in September BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon informed the media about certain changes in rules and regulations for the ongoing season and eliminating all franchises, BCB took over the charge of the current BPL and decided to run this current tournament by the board itself and named the tournament as Bangabandhu BPL T20 2019 in order to pay homage to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his birth centenary. On 16 November 2019, BCB unveiled the logo and name of the all seven teams for the current season. 5 out of 7 teams were sponsored by private companies while Rangpur Rangers and Cumilla Warriors are sponsored by BCB itself. 2019–20 National Cricket League
The 2019–20 National Cricket League was the twenty-first edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), a first-class cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. The tournament started on 10 October 2019, with eight teams placed into two tiers. The matches were used as the national team's preparation for their Test series against India in November 2019. Rajshahi Division were the defending champions. On 5 November 2019, Abdur Razzak took his 600th first-class wicket, becoming the first Bangladeshi bowler to reach the milestone. On 18 November 2019, Shahadat Hossain of Dhaka Division was withdrawn mid-way through the match with Khulna Division, after he physically assaulted teammate Arafat Sunny.
