Uss Paar
''Uss Paar'' (Urdu: اس پار, literal English translation: "over there") is the debut studio album of the Pakistani progressive rock band Qayaas, released on 23 April 2011 on BIY Records. The album was recorded and composed by founder, songwriter and lead guitarist Khurram Waqar. However, the release of the album earned the band a growing fan base in the underground music community and critical acclaim. ''Uss Paar'' is released to critical acclaim and commercial success. Five singles have been released in promotion of the album along with their music videos; "Tanha" in 2009, "Pukaar" in October 2010, "Umeed" and "Shehrezade" in 2011. Umair Jaswal (singer)
Umair Jaswal is a Pakistani actor, singer-songwriter and music producer from Islamabad. He was also lead vocalist of the rock band ''Qayaas''. Umair is the brother of singers Yasir Jaswal and Uzair Jaswal. Personal life Jaswal, whose father is "one of the best scientists in Pakistan", initially studied dentistry before switching to geology, but always kept an interest in the arts during all these academic years, in music by joining a band and in acting by doing theater plays. Sarmad Abdul Ghafoor
Sarmad Ghafoor (born November 5, 1975 in London, United Kingdom) is a Pakistani record producer, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. He has released two albums, one with Rungg (his former band), and one with Qayaas (his current band). He has also produced albums for a wide variety of artists, including Atif Aslam, Bilal Khan, Nusrat Hussain, Abbas Ali Khan, and Overload. Sarmad is best known for his work producing two platinum albums for Atif Aslam, including '' Jal Pari''. As producer Sarmad started his production career working in his own studio, SnM Studios in the basement of his parents' Peshawar, Pakistan home, recording his own band Rungg, and his brother Sajid Ghafoor's band Still. Atif Aslam
Atif Aslam is a Pakistani playback singer, songwriter, composer, and actor. He has recorded many songs in both Pakistan and India, and is known for his vocal belting technique. Aslam predominantly sings in Urdu, but has also sung in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, and Pashto.
