Post Proper Northside, also known as Post Proper North or Barangay 30, is one of the barangays of Makati, a city in Metro Manila, Philippines. It consists of most of Bonifacio Global City which is under the de facto administration of neighboring Taguig, that claims it as its own territory under its own barangay Fort Bonifacio, as well as a small area north of the business district which includes the Makati City Jail. Geography The administrative division claims an area of . Most of the area is currently under the de facto jurisdiction of Taguig, under its barangay Fort Bonifacio, while the remaining small area is under the control of Makati, located between barangays Cembo and West Rembo. A barangay (; abbreviated as Brgy. or Bgy.), historically referred to as barrio (abbreviated as Bo.), is the smallest administrative division in the Philippines and is the native Filipino term for a village, district, or ward. Fort Bonifacio Boundary Dispute
The Fort Bonifacio boundary dispute is a territorial disagreement between local governments in the Filipino cities of Makati and Taguig, and the municipality of Pateros. The dispute also includes the financial district of Bonifacio Global City (BGC). Taguig has administration over Bonifacio Global City and some territory to its south as part of Fort Bonifacio (barangay), Fort Bonifacio. Fort Bonifacio is one of the 28 barangays of Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. The financial district of Bonifacio Global City, the Fort Bonifacio military camp and the Manila American Cemetery are under the jurisdiction of the barangay. Embo (sometimes capitalized as EMBO; from "Enlisted Men's Barrio") refers to a collective term for barangays administered by the city government of Makati. The barangays were originally established to house military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
