Polina Kostiukovich
Polina Andreevna Kostiukovich (russian: Полина Андреевна Костюкович, born 7 March 2003) is a retired Russian pair skater. With her former skating partner, Dmitrii Ialin, she is the 2018 World Junior and the 2018–19 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, and the 2019 World Junior bronze medalist. She is also the 2017 JGP Croatia and the 2018 JGP Austria champion. Career Early years Kostiukovich began learning to skate in 2009. She trained as a single skater until 2016. Kostiukovich and Dmitrii Ialin began competing together in 2016. Anastasia Viktorovna Mishina (russian: Анастасия Викторовна Мишина, born 24 April 2001) is a Russian pair skater. With her skating partner, Aleksandr Galliamov, she is the 2022 Olympic champion in the team event and 2022 Olympic pairs bronze medalist, 2021 World champion, the 2022 European champion, the 2019–20 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, a three-time Grand Prix event champion, and the 2022 Russian national champion. Twist Lifts
Figure skating lifts are required elements in two disciplines of figure skating, pair skating and ice dance. There are five groups of lifts in pair skating, categorized in order of increasing level of difficulty. Judges look for the following when evaluating pair lifts: speed of entry and exit; control of the woman's free leg when she is exiting out of the lift, with the goal of keeping the leg high and sweeping; the position of the woman in the air; the man's footwork; quick and easy changes of position; and the maintenance of flow throughout the lift. Xie Zhong
Xie Zhong (; born September 19, 1998) is a Chinese pair skater. With his former skating partner, Gao Yumeng, he is the 2017 World Junior bronze medalist and 2017 Chinese national bronze medalist on the senior level. Early career Xie began learning to skate in 2003. Following a partnership with Wang Wen, he teamed up with Zhang Mingyang. The two competed on the 2013 Junior Grand Prix (JGP) series, placing fourth in August in Riga, Latvia. Gao Yumeng (; born April 13, 2001) is a Chinese pair skater. With her skating partner, Xie Zhong, she is the 2017 World Junior bronze medalist and 2017 Chinese national bronze medalist on the senior level. Early career Gao began learning to skate in 2008. During the 2015–2016 season, she competed in partnership with Li Bowen. Competing on the senior level, they finished 5th at the 2016 Chinese Championships. 2017–18 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2017–18 ISU Junior Grand Prix is the 21st season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It is the junior-level complement to the 2017–18 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six from each discipline met at the 2017–18 Junior Grand Prix Final, held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly.
