Pinky Webb
Joanna Marie "Pinky" Pagaspas Webb (born June 11, 1970) is a Filipina broadcast journalist currently working for CNN Philippines. She is the daughter of Freddie Webb and a sister of Jason and Hubert Webb. Education She attended high school at Colegio San Agustin where she was classmates with Kris Aquino. She studied at De La Salle University where she initially took AB Psychology then decided to shift to AB Management. She also took up a few courses at UCLA and Cal State Long Beach on journalism for a semester. Career During her career at ABS-CBN, Webb was a first news anchor of ANC Primetime News (1999–2004) and Dateline Philippines (2004–2014) and also host of ''Umagang Kay Ganda'', '' XXX: Exklusibong, Explosibong, Exposé'' (from 2008 until the show ended) and ''TV Patrol Weekend''. ''Umagang Kay Ganda'' (, also known as UKG) was a Philippine Breakfast television, morning show that aired on ABS-CBN from June 25, 2007, to May 5, 2020. Prior to ABS-CBN franchise renewal controversy, broadcast stoppage and the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines, COVID-19 pandemic, the program was aired every weekday mornings from 5:00AM to 8:00AM on the network's ''Umaganda'' morning block. It also aired worldwide via The Filipino Channel, TFC. The program was ABS-CBN's longest-running morning show. The Kapampangan people ( pam, Taung Kapampangan), Pampangueños or Pampangos, are the sixth largest ethnolinguistic group in the Philippines, numbering about 2,784,526 in 2010.
