ABS-CBN News Channel
ABS-CBN News Channel, commonly known as ANC, is a 24/7 Philippine pay television news channel. It was launched in 1996 as the first all-news network in English language. The majority of its programs are produced by ABS-CBN News. The channel is broadcast on terrestrial television in Guam through Dededo's channel 22. ANC is being broadcast from the ANC studio in ABS-CBN Newsroom, Studio 6 & Studio 7 in ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in the Philippines. An international feed called ''ANC Global'' is also available worldwide as part of TFC premium channels via cable, satellite, iWantTFC and TFC IPTV. 1080i
1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video. KEQI-LD
KEQI-LD (channel 22) is a low-power television station in Dededo, Guam, serving the U.S. territory as an affiliate of the Fox network. It is owned by Sorensen Media Group alongside ABC affiliate KTGM (channel 14). Both stations share studios on 111 Chalan Santo Papa in Hagåtña (Agana), while KEQI-LD's transmitter is located in the heights of Barigåda (Barrigada). KEQI-LD's signal can be seen over the air in Hagåtña (Agana), Tamuneng (Tamuning), and Dededo. Its programming is also available island-wide on KTGM's second digital subchannel, on cable channel 6 on MCV Broadband and GTA's GUdTV systems in Guam, and on cable channel 10 on MCV Broadband in the Northern Mariana Islands. In commerce and industry, 24/7 or 24-7 service (usually pronounced "twenty-four seven") is service that is available at any time and usually, every day. ''TV Patrol'' is a Philippine television newscast produced by ABS-CBN News. It premiered on March 2, 1987, at the former ABS-CBN television network, replacing ''Balita Ngayon''.
