Pink Hanamori
is a Japanese manga artist known for illustrating the manga ''Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch'' which was written by Michiko Yokote. Michiyo Kikuta (''Mamotte! Lollipop'') once worked under Hanamori as an assistant. Hanamori is a fan of Shōnen manga, and works for ''Nakayoshi''. She cited Yoshihiro Togashi's ''Yu Yu Hakusho'' as her biggest influence, alongside artwork by Megumi Tachikawa. is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by . It was serialized in the magazine ''Nakayoshi'' and published by Kodansha in Japan between February 2003 and July 2005. The story revolves around female protagonist Nina Yamada, a seventh grader who accidentally swallows the Crystal Pearl thinking it was candy. Yoshihiro Togashi
is a Japanese manga artist. He began drawing manga at an early age, before being recognized for his talent by publishing company Shueisha while attending college. Yu Yu Hakusho

The series tells the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a teenage delinquent who is struck and killed by a car while attempting to save a child's life.
