Pimlico Tube Station
Pimlico is a London Underground station in Pimlico, City of Westminster, on the Victoria line between Victoria and Vauxhall in Zone 1. Pimlico was the last station on the Victoria line to open in 1972, and is the only station on the line without an interchange to another, the deepest on the line, and the only one without step-free access. It is the main transport access point for the Tate Britain gallery. Location and name The station is at the junction of Bessborough Street and Rampayne Street. Both it and the area are believed to be named after a 16th-century publican, Ben Pimlico, who was well known for brewing nut-brown ale. London Buses routes 2, 24, 36, 185, 360 and C10 and night route N2 serve the station. IBeacon
iBeacon is a protocol developed by Apple and introduced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in 2013. Various vendors have since made iBeacon-compatible hardware transmitters – typically called beacons – a class of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices that broadcast their identifier to nearby portable electronic devices. Blackhorse Road Station
Blackhorse Road is a joint London Overground and London Underground station, located at the junction of Blackhorse Road/Blackhorse Lane with Forest Road in Walthamstow, London, England. It is on the Victoria line of the London Underground and is the penultimate station on the eastern end of that line. Above ground, the station is on the Gospel Oak to Barking line of the London Overground, from (measured via Kentish Town and Mortimer Street Junction). Hatton Cross Tube Station
Hatton Cross is a combined London Underground station and bus station. It is located on the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly line. It is in Travelcard Zones 5 and 6 and stands between the Great South West Road ( A30) and the Heathrow Airport Southern Perimeter Road. The station serves a large area including Feltham to the south and Bedfont to the west. The station was named after the crossroads of the Great South West Road and Hatton Road. The station, itself in the borough of Hillingdon, serves a very small residential community in Hatton, which is in the borough of Hounslow. The nearby area is partly within the airport but mainly includes its associated commercial warehousing and light industrial premises. Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 is a London Underground station at Heathrow Airport on the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly line, which serves Heathrow Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. It was named Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3 until January 2016, when Heathrow Terminal 1 was closed. Despite the renaming of the station, the signage on the platform still says Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3 as of June 2022. Piccadilly Line
The Piccadilly line is a deep-level London Underground line running from the north to the west of London. It has two branches, which split at Acton Town, and serves 53 stations. The line serves Heathrow Airport, and some of its stations are near tourist attractions such as Piccadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace. The District and Metropolitan lines share some sections of track with the Piccadilly line. The Crown Estate is a collection of lands and holdings in the United Kingdom belonging to the British monarch as a corporation sole, making it "the sovereign's public estate", which is neither government property nor part of the monarch's private estate.
